Not really of any help, but my '09 with the 6-disc changer does the same. Not a big deal for me as I don't give a crap about radio (satellite or land based)--but it was a "thing" I found after buying the truck. Is there some sort of subscription required or whatever???

12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
My '09 DCLB Prerunner with the 6-disc changer also does not work with satellite. Called Sirius and they queried my vin and found the radio requires an additional module to be installed that allows satellite reception. Verified with dealership. Cost prohibitive. Best to replace with aftermarket unit.
