I've pulled every bush we have in the flower beds except the one's right in front of the porch. If they are near the house they will mold the paint. I have river rock beds now. I like it a lot better. Something manages to start growing I roundup that shit and move on. Got 3 layers of landscape cloth, a 2" layer of pea gravel and about 3" of river rock on top. Did I mention I hate trimming fucking bushes? I've got one in the yard that won't fucking die. I've cut it down to the ground, poured roundup on it. I've set the bitch on fire 3 times with gas or anything else I could find that was flammable. I tried to yank it out of the ground with the truck even. Motherfucker keeps coming back. I'm tempted to rent a mini excavator and dig the fucker up completely.

I dug 6 of those pompus grass things up by hand also. That was a pain in the ass. Damn things were all 3 foot across and you have to dig it all up or it will come back. Lit them on fire to get them down and then pick ax and a shovel. Burned all those bitches in the fire pit. I've cut so much shit down I don't know what I'm going to burn for my annual spring bonfire this year. Got my Christmas tree sitting in the fire pit waiting still. lol

Ya. Even when I pushed the button to be able to set it higher it still seems really low. I even have it set on entertainment mode.

Our last house had a lot of landscaping in the backyard, done by previous owner. Swear to god I will never own another house with that much bullshit. Looks good for pictures. But not much else. When we replaced our fence, I pulled out about half of it.
