So, I got an email from my dealer listing a special on the "Toyota LED Illumination packet" Being an LED whore, I was like "what's dat?"
Apparently Toyota has engineered an option for LED puddle & footwell lights for the Taco. I think they only fit 2016 and above, but you could probabaly make them work on the 2nd Gens. Cost, probably pretty expensive. I found the similar kit for around $170 on another dealer's site, then looked at the instructions http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/00016-00069-TACOinst.pdf
Seems simple enough, but at $100 per hour at a dealership, that's probabaly another 200.

I was wondering if anyone has these on their Taco and how they like them. Seems like I could use the instruction to wire up my own using various LED pods. The good part is that Toyota has identified which wires to connect so the LEDs function with the remote and door opening. This saves a ton of time figuring out the wiring
