Did you put 5100's in the rear, or are you still running stock shocks?

I wanted to level mine but I am on 265/70/17 stock with tons of clearance on my 2 wheel drive. Really wanted to go to 275/65/17 on my 17 x 8 but BFG only comes in E rated that size. Probably going to go with stock suspension. I am probably putting 265/70/17 C rated KO2's on my spare set of FJ wheels just for a different look for the summer.

Does the rear feel as good as it did when it was stock?
I put 5100's on the front, but I only went 2nd clip from the top. Front rides great.
I put a 1" block in the rear, but kept stock shocks. I didn't think only 1" would affect the ride, but it isn't smooth like it was. Feels a little rougher, like the SR5 and Sport I test drove before I bought the OR. I guess I need to go ahead and replace the rear stockers with 5100's.

Could you have gone with a bigger tire like a 275/70/17 or 285/70/17. Have mine lifted with Bilsteins 1.55" in front & Bilsteins in back with 1" block running 265/65/17. Would like a bigger tire with no rubbing issues.

With your 1.55" in the front , you should be able to go 275/70/17 no problem.

Going to order front 5100's this week. Just going with .65 setting to level. Only possible rear change will be 5100's for ride consistency and towing stability. Looking at 24'-25' light travel trailers in the near future. Riding on 265/70/17C BFG's and could use a hair more clearance up front. The general consensus is the 5100's are more stable and comfortable than the stock shocks. Not a whole lot of rake on my stock 2 wheel drive suspension so .65 should be correct. Best deal I have seen on the 3rd gen shocks is from Race Consulting Agency at $201 a pair delivered.

For those running the 3rd gen 5100's and nothing else, what setting did you use to level out the front? 0.65" or 1.1"? Please post pictures to show how it turned out.

Anyone have a clue on what the biggest tire size you can run at this set up with no rubbing?

Has the front sagged down at all since installing the 5100s?

As my post shows (just before yours) mine is dead level at 0.65. No sagging after 5-6 weeks and running 265/70/17's.
