I am fabricating some sliders up and was noticing the rocker panel seem under neath the truck. Has anyone bent to smashed that in so it sits flat and is out of the way. I wanted to make more clearance between the sliders and rocker panel. You_Doodle_2017-04-17T16_50_58Z.jpgYou_Doodle_2017-04-17T16_50_20Z.jpgIMG_3635.jpg

I cut square notches halfway into mine so the slider legs could clear buy my pinch weld would still be how it's supposed to be on the rest of it.

I think thats why they come in at an angle so you dont have to mess with any of that. I dont know for sure but thats where my money is at

Just leave it and put the sliders lower and do like 20 degree angle

Think I might go this route. I can't wait 14 weeks for sliders from Relentless and last weekend adventures messed my passenger side rocker panelIMG_3556.jpg

Just leave the structural integrity as a whole as intact as possible. The pinch weld is there for a reason ha don't want to just bend it in half or chop it off.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
unless it's a pinch weld in a fender well and you want to clear big tires. Then smash away.

I'd just mount the sliders lower. That's what i did anyway.

Yup, but cutting/pounding a few inches of it and taking the whole stinking thing off are different stories haha.

Do whatever you want, but I waned my sliders tucked up as high as possible.

I'll be notching mine where the outriggers pass through to gain the extra clearance; no need to bend the entire length imo
