My truck didn't even pull left or right after we installed the UCAs. I'm not sure if it was blind luck, or if @fatfurious2 really knows what he's doing. :D

I had it aligned at a shop that has tons of experience with aftermarket UCAs and it's running perfectly now.

I didn't do anything to mine. But I did pay it off! Maybe now I can start doing the things I want to it instead of drooling over what I see all of y'all do haha.

Those are the hella sharp tones. They operate at different Hz than the supertones and sound very much like OEM. About $30 on Amazon for a pair.

I was thinking of doing this. She pointed out how cool the stock knobs were when she first got it. I will try to sneak them on.

Yeah well if you do it and she does NOT notice then you know the door is open to do more mods!

    Well, that's a first.

The OE knobs are BOOOOORRRRIIINGGG, in my not-so-humble-opinion. The six dollar upgrade was a no brainer.

If only I could keep the stupid fucking bulbs from not working, negating the very reason why I got the aluminum knobs with the light piping in the first place... :annoyed:

(even not lit, the chinese knob upgrade is definitely better looking that stock)

Quick background, yes it's an XSP-X package which I've read countless threads on here with mixed opinions but when I bought it in 2012 I wanted something that was done up enough that I wouldn't turn it into a money pit like my last car. I made it about 5 years without doing all that much to it aside from tint. Well after deciding to keep the truck and not trade it in I decided it was time to start another money pit. I started with replacing the tires that came on the truck which it needed. They are BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's (265 60r18) which were part of the package and a great set of tires. This truck is mostly driven for work and I've been storing most of my stuff in the back seat for the last few years so I decided if I'm going to keep it I wanted to start by reclaiming the space. I bought a Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite, Pop & Lock, and a TruXedo Truck Luggage Expedition Cargo Bag to get organized. Not being surrounded by work tools in the truck definitely helped me decide to move forward with my other plans.

The first thing to go was the chrome (5 years I wanted that gone)... no more chrome grill. I found this on eBay. It was taken off a vehicle as an insurance replacement because of 3 scratches that you can't even see.
    2017-04-19 09.46.54.jpg

No more chrome bumper. I've been looking for a black replacement bumper without luck and considered painting the chrome one but I thought I would try these BumperShellz a try first. So far so good. They seem really secure and I like the fact that they're note painted but rather the plastic is colored. PSA, when installing them with a toddler don't let them play with the sockets. While I had my license plate lights out my son dropped about 20 sockets into my bumper.
    File Apr 19, 3 01 16 PM.jpg

Climate control knob upgrade. They are just knobs but its one cheap upgrade that changes the whole look.
    2017-04-19 09.46.14.jpg

SAIS Filter. The foam in mine was fine but after reading all the stories I figured why chance it.
    2017-04-19 09.46.36 HDR.jpg

There are a few other minor things done to it but the next thing on my list is the suspension. I'd like to do a 2.5-3 inch lift. This truck sees mostly pavement so it's going to be mostly for looks but if the wife asks it would also be for safety. Florida floods a lot and height helps when you're on the road a lot. I've narrowed down what I want but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. This sites been great for research but it makes it very hard to decide.

Anyway, that's where she stands today. All of this has been the last month. Time to take a bit of a break but hopefully the suspension won't be too far off.

The 2012+ are a bit brighter. Think she liked the lighting more than the knob. I'm guessing she will love these.

I put mine in not long ago. They have been great since especially the heat. First time towing using them will be this Saturday when the Travel Trailer comes home.
