What's the deal with all the Pro Tundras? I swear I see 10 for every 1 Taco.

That one isn't a real Pro, just the grille. The Tundra community loves that grille. My local dealer puts that grille on every truck doesn't matter if it's a SR work truck or a 1794 they all get that grille ;)

Been running the 285/75/16 BFG KO2s with the 1" Toytec spacer in front and icon progressive AAL (overload OUT) in the back for a year now and haven't had any issues with rubbing yet.....also removed all mud flaps.

Caveat to that though, I haven't done much wheeling if any in the past year either so there's that.

Damn I thought they were the same suspension? What makes a pro a "pro" if not? I do have my Baja rear shocks if you are interested.

Alright Taco supremes I need some suggestions with a lift kit. Can I achieve 3" lift with spacers? I don't know shit about lifting a truck so what's good and possible within a budget?

2.5 inches seems to be the happy spot for our trucks as the closer you get to 3 inches the more angles you put on your CVs. This can cause the rubber ends to start rubbing and eventually tear. Unless you want to go LT where you severly change the angles on your cvs, I would recommend staying a little under 3 inches.

Are you familiar with a mid travel set up? You could always do a drop down bracket if height is your only concern and wheeling may not be a priority. I say this in that a drop bracket lift will give you height, but retain your stock geo and clearance which to me doesn't gain much for the trail.

I was going for a more aggressive look but I've already had CV boot issues with the clamp coming off. No biggy though. I'd have to save money for a while in order to do this and put different tires under there.

Got ya man, def good you are already aware. I guess if you had a wish list, what would you want the truck to achieve? Im sure you could get someone to repack the tulip and then crank down the clamp or is the boot torn?

Just do the specific toytec spring seat....been mention here quite a bit in the last few pages. It's a part made specifically for these coil overs. It will add you that inch to get you to 2.75.

Ah ok, sorry man I missed the joke due to not being familiar with these trucks in stock form.

This is an awesome thread. I clearly do not get on here enough! Here is the latest pic of my 2013 baja. Im working on my photography skills haha. Currently running 285/75/r16 without any modifications to accommodate for them other than the removal of the mud flaps and the addition of the @Pelfreybilt front bumper

    Great looking truck.

Are those 285's Toyo M/T or what style? I've been debating between those and General Grabbers.

I used to run Toyo MT tires. They arnt always the best in wet conditions, but damn if they arnt pure sex man. For mudding they can make things fun for sure. If I was to get MT, they would be my jam again.

Arnt the grabbers more of a sand tire?

Are they rebuildable? Sorry for the questions but 70K is a decent amount of mileage for rears lol

I don't know if they are...they are billys. That's why I got them for a low price though.
