I also wanted to add that this cap fit like a glove on my ac... which leads me to believe it may not be a RC cap? The guy had a RC and he said it fit perfect to but it is on my truck and looks stock... So I would test out whichever one you go with of course.

OMG that's beautiful! Can you snap a pic of the gap where the shell meets the cab? I'm curious about how they line up.

Any update on this? Looking at a cap right now, that may or may not be for a regular cab, to put on my access cab. It's a 3 hour drive, so I want to see what it looks like before I commit to making the drive. And were you able to confirm if it was an RC or AC cap?

That's really not too bad. Did you ever buy the RC shell?

I ended up buying the cap, but it was for an access cab. The guy that he had a regular cab in Barcelona, but it was actually an access cab in impulse red. Haha.

Ahaha better late than never. The pic people really are about is how the cap lines up with the rear of the cab

Bumping this old thread as it helped me when searching for an answers - picked up this A.R.E. Z Series Regular cab cap for my Access cab, fits perfectly. The odd gap as described by others between cab and cap isn't anything major IMO.

In the process of rehabbing it now, going to have it paint matched via Maaco. Another score from FB Marketplace...
