Rear bumper quick question.

Are all rear 2nd gen Tacoma rear bumpers have the same bolt/fit pattern or are they different?

 

I bought an OEM '15 rear bumper/hitch takeoff on Craigslist to replace my '06 rust collection. It had less than a year on a new Taco when I bought it. Checked distance between frame rails, bolt pattern, both trucks identical. There's nothing else to check for fit, it's all assembled.

Service mgr. at my dealer shop says it "may not work". He says there can be "small changes from year to year". Way too many bumper makers sell "fits all 2nd. gen. Tacoma" bumpers for that to be true.

http://chipscollisionrepair.com/ in West Jefferson OH installed it for $50. A little PB Blaster, 10 bolts, torque to 90fp. took him less than an hour. He even fixed a license plate light that wasn't working. I have $200 total in it. Probably raised the truck value $500.

Update: I gave my old bumper to a friend with an '05 Tacoma work truck. He installed it, fit perfectly. So this verifies all OEM 2nd. gen. Tacoma REAR Bumpers are interchangeable.
