Road trip completed. Here's my report on everything that went wrong with my truck -- one rock chip to the windshield. Gawddamned Toyota corporate -- why haven't they done something about this problem???

Seriously, that was it, a rock chip. And it sounded like a pretty good sized stone hitting the windshield from the semi truck I was passing at 74 mph, with the rock going in the opposite direction at who knows what speed. Fortunately the chip is low on the windshield and only obscures my view of the hood.

Everything else with the truck went well -- no howls, abnormal shifting of gears, whines, whistles, wheezes, or clunks.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Didn't get my turkey, but plenty of time left in the season for that.
