Well here goes I have owned diesel super duty's dodge full size trucks
Nissan Armada full size SUV and they were ok vehicles in 2007 at that time we did not own a full size truck and we were needing one we actually have the need for one boats and jet skis and car hauler at that time we had been burned by ford with their diesel 6.0 what a piece of /(-$(@;",' you get the picture it went back under lemon law so we were left out in left field with a need for s fullsize truck and out come the new body style Tundra
So we took a chance and bought one. Double Cab 8' long bed 4x4 5.7 V8 SR 5 and 100,000 miles later what a beast she still boils the wheels not one issue other than recalls for items that I never had issues with so I decided I stick with what I know so about two years ago when this new body style Tacoma came out it caught my eye I have quite a few friends that own the older generations three of them have over 350,000 miles on them and there answer to me is we will drive them till the wheels fall off so last night my wife and I bought a brand new Tacoma TRD OFF Road 4x4 long bed and I have to say it's an awesome smaller version of my Tundra so there you have it I'm not a sales guy I work in a PowerPlant so I turn wrenches for a living so best I can put it is I call it like I see it Thanks for having me and allowing me to share my experience with these trucks.

I've got the same exact truck and so far around 20K miles on it. I love it. Not great on gas mileage would be my only complaint, but there really is nothing else out there that looks/performs better. Hope you enjoy!

Welcome! Congratulations on the new truck. I HIGHLY recommend you read the welcome information that was sent to you in the Welcome Message and Learn to Use Search Feature to avoid getting flamed for asking questions that are repeatedly asked here and beaten to death like "what tire size can I fit" "what lift should I get" etc. That will help you integrate smoothly to the TW community.

    Again welcome!
