So I'm in my truck about 10 mins... I come to a stop, hit the brakes and he truck sputters and dies.

Says low oil, high transmission heat and is dead for 3 mins. I drive it to a safe location and let it rest for 15 mins and it's driveable again. Toyota is down the street 2 miles so I figured I would take it there..under warranty still

dies 1.5 miles away. Waiting for a tow truck.

    No visible leaks.
    No pre-hi heat warning
Truck still has accessory powIMG_0525.jpg er.

Doesn't start. lol I'm clueless at this point. Any ideas?

Take pics of all error messages with cell phone.

    Raise hell at the dealer.

Contact the local consumer news person and complain and maybe you'll make it onto the news.

Save money for a lawyer and try to get a new truck. That truck is dangerous and I wouldn't want my wife and 16 month old in something like that..

Don't waste your time at Toyota. Tow it to a Chevy dealer, trade it on a ridgeline and demand an extended Chevy warranty

Wow - your old lady say no last night or something? you talk like some 14 year old pimple kid on the playground.

Love your respectful response to the OP while he is waiting for a tow truck at the side of the road.

Yes, after 1 or 2 years after being bought brand new, they pretty much are.

I dunno what dreamworld you're living in or what drugs you're on, but I want some.

Also, if you're comparing posts on TW (which is the least vindicitive or accurate representation of the reliability of an automobile on a large scale), I just looked up 5 pages worth of the keyword "issue" in the title alone in the 2nd gen forum. I can be obscure too!
