Anyone used the total chaos rear shock hoop and not gone sua? Thinking about getting that and a 2.5x10" bypass, but it suggests it works best with their sua mid travel set up. Don't know if that's just a marketing gimmick or if it will only work with that system? Any help would be cool

2.5" bypass will be a uper tight squeeze on a first gen...

Edit: nvm, you have a second gen.SUA is better than SOA for a number of reasons.

For you guys how have relocated your shocks where both lower mounts are on the back side of the axle, have you noticed any axle wrap? I understand that most OEM setups have the lower mount on opposite sides of the axle to even out twisting force during a bump. I am just wondering if is a real world issue.

I'm very close to purchasing ICON 2.5 rear shocks and this thread has been very helpful.

    Thanks

Okay that's good to hear. If I feel like relocating the tail pipe I may go with that setup.

Nice shocks you have there. Do they have high and low speed compression adjustment?

Because of the lack of axle material between the leaf spring and the drum?

Yeah, typically anyone who goes outboard will rub the shock bodies on stock width unless they run spacers and tires only as big as 265/75r16.

Mind are both mounted in front. My axle wrap diminished big time but that was also largely due to adding Deavers.

Why would you want to put them behind?

What's your bs and tires again? Remember coming across your build when I was looking to go outside the frame.

Has anyone used the BAMF towers with SUA? I'm researching that setup for my 2016 DCSB-OR with 12" 2.5 King smoothies.

    3.5" BS, 265/75R16 could probably use a .5" spacer

I don't have anecdotal evidence to back this up, but I am under the impression that axle wrap issues are not so bad with stiffer aftermarket leaf springs.

Did you ever go this route? I have the TC mid travel kit with 12 inch king 2.0 smoothies with the BAMF relocation. Mine are about as far forward inside the fenderwell as possible to get full extension of the 12s.
