Adding car wind booster?

Can I add one of those Wind booster things to my truck? Its a 2009 Tacoma. 4.0 v6 engine. 4x4 double cab

 

What do you mean by a " Wind booster thing " , supercharger , hood scoop?

Personally I wouldn't put that shit on my truck

 

mabye improve gas mileage and the sport modes on it

 

This will honestly do nothing for MPG's and the sport mod is nothing. This is just a gimmick!

according to the ad it supposed to give you more throttle response , but supposed to and actually doing is 2 different things

 

I wouldn't put that crap on any vehicle. Too many unknowns, and who knows what that little thing would do to your truck's ECU and other systems. Run away!

Our trucks are built with very exact specs in all electrical systems, and if you go start throwing unknown electronics into the mix, I would be willing to bet that other systems would start having failures and issues just like falling dominoes.

Says it makes your vehicle feel faster but all it really says it does is open the butterfly a slight bit more. Same as pushing the pedal a hair more.

Does effectively the same thing that my Haltech does. Removes the negative bow. As visualized in the picture of my throttle setup.



The light grey line represents a linear response of throttle blade movement, to APP( pedal) input.
