Couldn't one fill them in with fiberglass? That's all the bed is anyway

I don't really know how else to do it, and yes you can, that's what I'll be doing to patch them up. I'm getting a bed cap and my bed is full of tiny holes :annoyed:

I wouldn't go through the hassle of fiberglassing over some bolt holes in the bed. A dab of silicone in each hole will suffice.

I've become quite the fan of nylon hole plugs, I see no reason why they wouldn't work on the exterior, especially under a truck cap where UV won't really be hitting them. Snap one into the hole, maybe run a zip tie through it and looped back on itself from the bottom to keep it from popping back through, done. Black ones obviously match better than the natural white-ish ones.

Any of you guys have any experience with ditch lights? Worth the extra money for rigid?

I just bought a pair of Cali raised. I don't have experience with ditch lights at all. But I can't see spending the money for anything rigid

I'm debating on adding ditch lights or just replacing my fog lights with a nicer set

I was never big on the way ditch lights look, but if your wheeling at night they do a great job of letting you see the sides of the trails. Which can be very useful. So I jumped on a set from the for sale thread.

Ditch lights are honestly useless. All the light hits your hood and doesn't shine anywhere. I have them. Useless.

Also, traded in for a new whip... :mudding:

@i_cappi thanks for the patch. Couldn't let it get lonely so I made myself a patch starter kit. Mo money.....

Finally got the Dometic fridge mounted on the slider. I wanted a way to quickly remove the slider, so I used well nuts that compress on the back side when tightened down. I'm amazed at how strong they are; this thing wont budge! The cooler is staying chilled easily at 39 degrees, even in the back of my truck in the sun, with the compressor barely kicking on. Voltage is holding nicely at 12.5v for over 5 hours now. I'm happy and ready for a week living out the truck in South Carolina at Joe Nall, the world largest model airplane fly-in.
