Stock as Fuck or Not Fucking Stock

I have been reading and researching quite a bit. Was wondering what were peoples opinion. Especially since I know people have switched between them over the years.

I am looking for some good water protection, and the ability to take it off somewhat easily. I could care less about laying it against the back of the cab or not.
