I have State Farm insurance, and I've not made a claim yet... so we will see how they are to work with

State Farm should be ok to deal with, but you'll probably take a premium increase.
What was the prize for getting the closest to the actual estimate?

Advice on how not to drive into thing that will crush the side of your truck.

In my 09, I backed into the same telephone poll twice. Was backing up watching people in front of me and for traffic in the street I was backing into, heard the crunch. Stopped. Thought it was a water bottle and backed up some more, the whole time my son is in the back trying to tell me about the poll. Traded it in with the character dent, even though it was at the body shop for two other things.

And buffing.. then take more pics...

Yeah those wimpy ass predator steps did not do their job bro. Bigger wider sliders and you'd be out there with a can of Rustolium & problem solved.

Yeah you got it in the blind spot..... that's like the Achilles heal right there, ouch.

Added pole? or "poll"? Seems the pole was added earlier..

    Freudian slip?

Well, I've got a few estimates so far. They've ranged from $6,200.00-$7,500.00...

The poll should have a selection for "Adds character deal with it".

That just means you won't be afraid to get more dents and scratches off road. ;)

I personally would probably deal with it as a claim is gonna hurt you for awhile. Pay a lot in the long run..
