After much reading on this forum and others I feel prepared enough to do the 2wd to 4x4 conversion on my 2.7L 5-speed regular cab. I've purchased the FJ transfer case, carrier and front drive shaft. I haven't purchased the CVs yet because I'm considering manual locking hubs. My question is, can I convert my R155 to a R155F by simply swapping the backend with the transfer adapter (36107-60080) from a R155F?
