    Im staying at a nice river house for free. It's my friends bday and her best friends dad owns and rents a bunch of river houses here lol. We ain't roughing it... we have an outdoor kitchen, two decks and plenty on beds lol

    Close....VERY close. 2 reasons I'm hanging on...1. Insurance. I get mine now at no additional cost to me. If I leave, that changes. We're switching me over to my wife's plan, but that will be October before it covers pre-existing conditions. With my medical issues, we could get hit with $10,000 or more (at minimum) between now and then if I go off my plan. 2nd....I'm starting to see more and more evidence that the board of directors here is fed up with this clown we have running the show. I would like nothing more than to still be working here, standing in the parking lot, waving goodbye to him as he drives off for the last time. My wife hates it when I say this, but if I walk out of here the day AFTER he's gone, and I fall over dead in the parking lot, I'd die a happy man.

    I work with a guy who has been here for 49 years! Insurance is his issue with retirement. The man served in Vietnam and worked his whole life.
    After talking to him and several other old timers where I work I get disgusted with the insurance issue when you retire.
    Basically if you did nothing with your life you would have welfare and free medical all you want.
    It's complete bs
