Sounds like you need some Advil Carl. Sounds like a fun way to get rid of the pests.

Last year I had a lot of them and did some thinning out, bet I got 80-85 so far this year. Today was a good day, seemed they were hovering lower than some days. I have a carpenter bee trap out, it looks better than it works but it does get a few, tennis racket is much better! I might have to get the bird shot out next for the high fliers. :D

    Evening all:
I think I just inherited another project!
My fishing buddy Jim just bought a 600 Remington in a .350 Magnum, which is very hard to get shells for. He did buy 2 boxes of shells at the sale plus some fired brass but doesn't want to shoot the round nose tips that the factory shells have and would prefer to shoot 200gr pointed spire points.
Just so happens I have the reloading dies for the .350 Mag. and can take care of what he wants, plus a stash of brass for it also! :D
Looks like I will have to help him out, I would bet that he figured that the old guy would!
Did an inventory earlier, looks like I have somewhere around 500+ , some loaded in new brass, new brass, and some once fired brass for the .350 Mag.
I didn't think I had that much, thought maybe somewhere around 300, but I'm sure glad I stocked up on it.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

I haven't forgotten your generosity by gifting me a detachable mag for my Remington .280 Mountain Rifle. Thanks again.

How's it going on the other side of the mountain John!
Your welcome again Gary, and thank you again!
Jim wants Remington 200gr pointed core lokt bullets loaded, I can't find them anywhere, I also have a supply of them :) but will see if I can talk him into the Hornady SP, I have always had good luck with the Hornady's for hunting and at least they are readily available and seem to be more accurate than the core lokt. I already have the brass in the tumbler, and cleaned up and resized some of the cleaner brass to make sure it fits in his chamber without having to mess with my die, it was at maximum trim length and chambered so we are on our way!

    Morning, all!

Sorry about your loss, Tex. My Mom passed away in January and I am also executor of her estate - although she didn't have much left. One last item to deal with in the coming weeks and I think it will be wrapped up.

I have also found the Hornady Spire Point to be quite accurate, at least in the .270 and 30-06 rifles I fired them in.

    Thanks Susan.

And thank you Mark. Dad had left mom in pretty good shape financially. Distributing the checking accounts, CD's, and annuities should be fairly straightforward. The difficult part will be spreading the house and property amongst the five siblings .... gonna take some leg work.

:( and :woot:! The frown is because I went out to start the 66 and it barely turned over, the woot is because I will be getting another free battery from Sunoco.
Checked the code, it's 6 1/2 years old and it's a 7 yr batt., probably once I charge it it will go the summer, but can almost forget it for dependability next winter. I had been putting AC Delco's in for quite awhile, the last one I got was only 700CCA and not the freedom Batt., the other ones were the freedom batteries and I believe 850CCA, maybe time to change brands.

Nothing like the sound of a big block to get the blood pumping.

I will say that the sound of a 2.5 Mercury Off Shore or Drag V6 turning about 10,000 rpms is pretty addictive too.

Is your battery prorated or just even exchange?
