4 horns are better than 2! I've got 2 sets of the sharp tones, and it really gets people's attention. I honked at a car on Friday, and the dude in the car next to me was like "holy shit, your horn scared the shit out of me"

It was on my Subaru since I've sold my Tacoma, but this could easily be done on a Tacoma too.

Leave it to tacoma world to not miss a Beat. Yeah sadly it's slightly crooked. And I mean slightly. Been driving me nuts even though have the people I ask say they can't tell. Only can you tell from certain angles. I took the swingout off as you can see in the pic in preparation to remove it and adjust/cut this weekend. If you look around I've noticed a lot of people's hc bumpers look this way. I think the angles on the truck and rake mess with the eyes haha.

Ripped out the flaky HID fog light conversion and installed LED foglights, in the rain. Thanks Amazon prime!

For now. They were on the truck when I bought it. I'll probably switch to LEDs soon

Changed my brake pads 2 days ago, got my rotors turned. Having occasional clunk/knock from the driver front end when turning? I can't reproduce it well..

Regardless- point of this post is I went to go remove the new pads and see if anything looked obvious and there was some cob webs around my caliper and pads... I cleared this away and took my brake pads out. As I was adjusting the shims on the pads while holding them I noted my finger was pinning down the leg of a HUGE Black Widow that had set up camp between the pad and the rotor........ I still feel spiders crawling on me.

Any mystery clunking and i immediately go to sway bar end link bolts. I chased a clunk for months only to find out the bolt that goes through the spindle backed out maybe 1 turn. Was tight, but not cranked down. Got some M.A.N. on it and boom....mystery clunk gone.

Color matched over the chrome? I have been looking for a factory color matched grill surround but if it csn be done ove chrome that puts me closer to accomplishing the look I am going for

Did the noise start right after you changed pads? Could be the pads shifting, common issue you should be able to find with a search.

If no, jack the front tire off the ground with the jack bearing on the bottom of the knuckle (lower control arm where the caliper attaches) so the suspension remains under compression. Grab the tire at 12 and 6 and then 3 and 9 and shake it hard each direction. If it moves left to right it is a wheel bearing, if it goes up and down it is likely a ball joint, usually on the upper control arm.

Yes I noticed with the change in brake pads only, but that's awesome info to help me diagnose. If the pad is loose, do I just get a new shim or what? I will do a search :p
