Just lifted with ome full suspension medium lift. Rubbing on back side of passengers wheel well just ever so slightly. Alingment guy said it was good. Any help just heat and push it back? Driver's side is perfectly fine. Just passenger is slightly rubbing when turning a little bit. Picture of drivers and passengers.

I'm just curious has anyone else seen this before. I plan on cutting the plastic but just want to see if maybe there is something I messed up before hand or if it's common for passenger side to be back a little more.

What are your caster numbers from the alignment?

They did not have a printer so no idea. I'm assuming it's farther back on passenger side since it's rubbing but not on driver's.

Not sure how many times it is mentioned every time someone asks if you can fit 285s with xx amount of Lift and we say "lift alone will not fit larger tires" it depends on a variety of factors such as wheel backspacing offset and then most Still have to trim fender flare plastic and possibly a cab mount chop.

I think his main concern is why one side i fine, the other side rubs.

Im guessing there is an alignment issue. Regardless, the side thats fine isnt indicative of how the other side should be, 285s rub, period.

I realized 285 rub already planned on CMC and trimming. Was just curious on the one side isn't and one is.

The driver side frame area (where the cab is mounted to the frame) is at a different angle (more aggressive . . . pitches towards the front of the vehicle) vs the passenger's side frame area (same location). Check it out.

Will 285's fit without rubbing?.... yeah well should have posted ?? beforehand! :D

Just think how much help you would have gotten!

I'd be sure your alignment is spot on before chop'in! Just sayin..... not that its going to make a difference but the alignment kinda sounds like it's "close enough" maybe there's room for improvement??

Maybe. The guy has been doing alingments for 27 years I'm positive he is true to his word. I just think it's a taco world and I'll have to start cutting and deal with it

You don't always want caster the same on both sides. A lot of times a good alignment will have caster differ up to .5 between sides. I'd ask for numbers next time, it's always good to see where they put you.
