    Went out to butcher Jones and sycamore yesterday. Once I got to sycamore, setup targets and got through exactly 5 rounds before the ranger showed up to tell us the area was being closed down because our neighbors out there started a fire.

    This is why we can't have nice things.

    It's a penthouse alright. Bit of pita to get it closed up. Brother in law was monkey and got on top of it to help close it. I guess that 3in mattress topper didn't help things.

    Yes! It was actually for my niece. My sister wanted a place for my 11 month old niece to play. Not actually filled with water.

    Yes, 35s on 17" rims now with harrow lockers and 4.88s.

    I don't see gaining any gas mileage on the Taco as it feels like a new engine was installed... And I'm Loving the quickness, particularly that it still has power at high speeds. I'm trying to behave for the first 500 miles.

    When I picked up the landcruiser I went on IH8MUD and asked where's the best place for gear installs. I had at least 15 responses, all from Toyota folks, all hands down saying Zuk. He actually ordered the gears and got them cheaper than I could find d them. He explained everything, I got text updates... Quick and easy once it started. It would have been quicker but my shoulder got in the way.

    For all you guys considering using Zuk, if you do, and need a DD, I have one you can borrow.

    Nice, I plan on ordering 4.56 for my 33s. Gotta LockRight coming from a fellow 5Lug member. Zuk is able to get cheaper gears than what ECG offers? Also DD? How long did the install take?

    Most likely, but I don't mind having that extra oomph. I'm okay with the higher revving at top speeds. As of right now, my truck struggles to keep up with freeway speeds.

    My Stock tires were 27in 3.58 gear. Currently have 33s carrying a heavier load. Trust me, my truck is begging me for a regear. My truck doesn't run as strong as your V6s.

    My Taco had 3.73 stock. It's been piggies from the first 33s I put on 10 ish years ago. The 35 really changed things. Truth is it was drive able, and I'm sure would not have limited me any more than I was, but I wanted the fun of it. I almost did 5.29s but did some test driving first to compare. On the Taco, 4.88s are perfect with the 35s. The FJ80 could have handled the 5.29s but the 4.88s will be fine. Zuks pricing was better... But there's no shipping either! Fj took 2 days. Picked up at my house late Monday night, delivered back Thursday, left with Taco, and Taco returned Friday night.

    If you needed a DD while yours is being done, you can borrow one of my vehicles.
