    We have discussed meeting in Lewiston on Friday afternoon (5/26) and working our way south on highway 129/3 to where the Grand Ronde river crosses the highway. Then follow the river road towards Troy. First camp night will be somewhere along the river hopefully.

    Not specifically discussed yet is the exact itinerary after that. I'm thinking Dug Bar and Hat Point and Hells Canyon overlook but the exact order of events is not set. There are literally miles and miles of dirt in that whole area to explore. We just scratched the surface last time. We did not make it to Hat Point last time. Sure like to this time.

    FWIW, Google says Powell to Lewiston is 10 hrs.
