I have an iPhone and would love to use the wireless charger pad. Do I need some type of modification or charging pack on my iPhone or do I simply place it on the holder pad? Will my rubber case interfere with the charging process?

Secondly, what the heck is this part? It was in one of the cup holders when I took delivery of my Tacoma.

    Thanks all!

The part looks like the cup holder divider. Not sure of its actual name. Should snap right in the middle of the cup holders
There's also a button to turn on the wireless charging pad. Directly above it

Maybe your phone doesn't support wireless charging? I had a galaxy s7 and now an s8. Both worked well with it.

No tags on the bed, air dam.
You'll need this wireless charging adapter that plugs into your iPhone power source. Once plugged in, rest it on the Qi pad and the green light should come on in a few seconds. Your iPhone should acknowledge the charge. I bought mine from dealership. $40 I think.

The wireless charging wont work for the iphone. Even with aftermarket cases that have the wireless charging circuits built-in the phone will usually reject it after a while, if not at first. Saying something that the device is not supported. I tried a few and even when the phone would accept the adapter it was hit or miss on if it would actually charge.

The iPhone doesn't have wireless charging built in. Maybe in the next model.

So you have to plug something into your phone in order to wirelessly charge it? Seems like plugging in a power cord would work the exact same

I've been using my Qi case with my iPhone for a year with zero issues.

i bought an adapter for that sole purpose of charging in my taco but it's a pain because it has to sit just right to start charging and it goes in and out when going over bumps. I stopped using it after awhile and just used the usb port.

Seems like a gimmick, I want my phone up by the steering wheel where I can see it.

I installed the Un Wholy mount... and added the Nillikin magnetic qi charging mount to it... I use the qi pad in the console for my work phone with the Nillikin qi charging case.

My S8+ works pretty well with the Qi charger. Problem is that I get out of my truck half the time forgetting it since I used to just put my phone in a cupholder.

    Giveth and taketh I guess.

Won't work on any iPhone to date. Maybe the 8 will have WC built in.
