Can I achieve the same results with the same setup as someone else?

I'm wondering if mimicking another persons lift setup would guarantee the same exact results, or is there some variance? For example, the taco in the pictures attached setup is: bilstein 5100 on all four corners, toytec 1" shackles in the rear, OME 881's and wheeler's 3 pack AAL. If I wanted mine to look like that would it pretty much be the same with the same parts and setup? If anything I'd maybe want mine 0.5-1 inch higher though. And skip out on the shackles if possible.

Btw found this in this build thread on another forum, check it out it's an awesome thread: http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/69539-03-Tacoma-Build

Look the same, yes. Drive the same, maybe. A lift may cause vibration issues. We don't know if the lifted truck has a carrier bearing drop or shims to angle the axle. May also need extended rear brake hoses if you off-road - you'll need to slowly lift one rear end look at the brake hoses to see if it overstretches.
