Hey guys, I'm considering a soft topper, and I thought it would be a great idea to keep my dog back there and keep him out of the cab.

I'm wondering if you have access to the bed from the rear sliding window so the dog wouldn't be completed cut off from us? I read somewhere about this but can't find any info on their website.

they used to offer one, but there was no way to keep it from allowing water in during a rain storm so they discontinued it.

but you could always roll up the rear window while the pup is in there...

You'd think it would be as simple as some Velcro? Just close the window when it rained?

I may have to try to fabricate something if they don't offer it.

the slits were verticle... basically look at the rear window and think of it in three pieces. slightly overlapping in the middle. you could run velcro on the overlaps but it would look like crap IMO... and if you did it yourself (ie just cut the rear window into three sections), you wouldn't have enough material to overlap. you might check if they'd still make one for you, but last time I checked... they don't do custom work. though you could order a spare rear window, cut a wider middle section (to create the overlap) and use that on your current window. hope that makes sense, hard to explain without pictures

    My wallet is empty
If you call them they can add one for $20 - I have it on mine and it's great. It has not let in any rain. The only drawback is you have to crawl into the bed to roll it up.
