Hey if you can Jack and multi-tab and still get it, then you might be a pro at it!! Haha
I'm not even gonna lie, I actually was a little scared... I never have been in a vehicle with that much power lol that feeling of being pushed back into the seat that much I'll never forget

@Matic making me miss my Vette... after grenading my original 418 in it and then the ERL 427 plus all the other bits, it was an expensive toy. but it was conservatively tuned at 650 RWHP on all motor. never even got to track it with the new setup before it went away :( someday I'll get a go-fast again.

No big deal. I've had that alpine amp in my cart for a couple days. I had one in my last truck and really loved it. I didn't rip out the amp and sub before trading my last truck in so I had to start all over :anonymous:

Bro....you can live vicariously through me when I finally get it to the track towards the fall. :)
650 rwhp is no joke. What happened to the vette?
Last car I tracked was my 71 dodge dart, 340, 4sp. That was in the mid 90's.
    Should be fun.

Oh that I will. All I've got right now...

Bought the vette (01 ZO6) with a 418 in it. was making about 480-490 RWHP. After a couple years of small things; lifter failed, rocker arm swaps and a few other "minor" garage fixes... it developed a bad tick or knock. Thought a rocker arm came loose again or was starting to hit the valve cover. Everything checked out and a tear-down was in order. Long story short, the short block was built really well and apparently there was not enough money in the build budget for some appropriate heads. The stock 243 heads were way worked over to accommodate the high lift cam (over 650 lift iirc) and it was essentially a ticking time bomb. all the cam lobes got wiped, valve seats messed up, spring damage, head surface damage and even some piston scoring on the walls... after it was torn down I decided to pull it and swap in a new motor. Came across the ERL 427 ... was someone else's build but had lots of documentation and less than 300 miles on it. Got that swapped in and was breaking it in. Ended up upgrading the springs to double springs and few other bits for peace of mind. Then eventually had to make a grown up decision and let it go for the time... Barely broke it in and had the car restored to it's road menace capability :(. But I'll do it again someday. Ha, forgot, with the new motor on the initial dyno day, the clutch let go and shattered the bell housing... wasn't rated for all the go juice. went to an RPS twin disk carbon setup and that thing was nice. Much more appropriate. But those are the cliff notes

Man I want another money pit again

That sounded like a sweet ride till the gremlins got it. 418 stroker ls3? the 5.7 is the ls6 correct?
Sounds like maybe the builder didn't quite get things together properly.

the 418 was LS2 based and yes the LS6 was 5.7. The ERL was built on a LQ6 6.0 block. They punch them to 454 cid pretty easy. something about a 7.0L in a vette :bananadance:
