Howdy from central Texas. This past Tuesday we traded in my wife's 07 JEEP JK Unlimited and picked up our 2017 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD double Cab. So far we are really happy with the switch. We made the deal in celebration of our 41st wedding anniversary. We aren't new to 4x4 or pickups for that matter. We wanted a small to midsize pickup to replace the Jeep and chose the Tacoma based on their longevity, size and features. This particular Tacoma has nearly all the options that come on a Limited (actually I don't know what might not be on this truck). The only thing I could think of to add was a bed mat to help prevent things from sliding around. I'm looking forward to our next road trip so we can try out the Tacoma.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Got in a set of Weather Tech floor mats. They ought to help out here in the hill country. I just learned about the TRD PRO, still think we would have picked the TRD OFF ROAD.

    Edited for typos.
