I'll be down there April 7th-9th, the weekend before it starts. Probably run poison spider mesa and elephant hill if you want to meet up.

I took the Juggy last year, and it was pretty awesome. Only downside is when you get to a trail that is being run for the event. Expect 12 hour delay on a 3 hour trail. Vendor booths were sweet as well. I remember seeing a lot of Toyota's. I'm planning a Tacoma run at some point, maybe in September.

Its getting bad, Im almost broke.
I used to do the Easter Jeep safari back in my younger days. Back when potato salad hill was open. Always great action there. Now its just to much commotion. Id rather go down when its not busy and do some serious wheeling........in a jeep. No offense, I love my taco, but nothing wheels like a jeep. Especially set up like the one above. Very nice.

I go multiple times a year.

I've wheeled suzukis, buggies, Toyotas, landrovers.. And I think for Moab a build Tacoma still wins!

    Suzuki's are too short.
    Buggies are too hot/ cold/ sunny/ rainy
    Toyotas rule.

    Landrovers and land rovers..

Jeeps break axles like tooth picks..

Tacoma's wheel base makes Big hot tub and other steep climbs seem like nothing.

I had a blast In my buggy and my Geo Tracker this trip

Potato Salad Hill is still open.

Jeeps are cool but they just break too much. :D

It was actually pretty quiet this year. Weird that there were a lot of people watching Potato Salad but not many really attempting it.

I remember 15 years ago when i stopped going the police would come in like the national guard. The harassment got out of hand. Being pulled over for no mud flaps and such. I wonder if that has finally had a negative effect on the safari attendance? It sure is a great place to visit and always lots of fun through.
