Considering organizing a big (I mean big) Tacoma/Toyota HF run this summer. Would ask HoT and GATOR for trail guides. I'd be willing to lead a true beginner only trail run as well. Anyone interested in coming? Trail leading? I know a couple guys here have been out quite a few times.. thinking early August to give Jambo some cool down time.

I'd like to turn this into an annual run, hopefully with more of a Tacoma focus but open to anyone willing to wheel.

Reason I'm proposing the idea is because I feel like our Austin chapter kicks ass. For real. But there are still a lot of shy stalkers on the thread for sure. There's also the rest of Texas. Houston's and SA's groups seem more FB based, and although Austin > DFW any day, we never seem to swing by eachother's threads. The key is just having enough trail leads to accommodate.

Anyone interested? @ChadsPride @AtxLakeTaco yall are more than welcome to ride with me, or I'm sure any of these guys will have y'all as well.

If this happens, I will be in contact with the GM of Hidden Falls so he knows we're coming.

Ya about 5 months later had to move cross country for it to NC then California for a better opportunity while she stayed here. Finally got a job back in 14 in Waco an moved back to the area all within a span of 2 years was a crazy ordeal. All is well now but no more toyz the truck an guns is enough to suffice me.

 

I am down but I am booked almost every weekend through July.

 

We did... and had a very gritty morning after. It was so weird, it was super nice all night by the fire.. then as soon as we got in the tents to get some sleep the wind picked up and it never stopped. It was a lonnnnnng night!

 

Have you had issues with it since? I'd hate to think every time I hit the sand it's going to act up! Next time I will turn it off on the beach though. Didn't really think about it while I was out there until the beep and the message on the dash saying it was inoperative.

 

Chad you better get that sucker back on some pavement man... That grass can be pretty tricky!
