Hey guys I'm looking for help with a radio problem. I have a 12' Sport with Factory JBL. The buttons on the right of the steering wheel and right of head unit stopped working but all the buttons on the left of steering wheel and head unit work. The Navigation, MP3 and phone controls do not work however AM, FM, CD all work fine. Dealer said yesterday it's an interface problem and need to purchase new head unit for $700 installed!

I don't have a fix for your stereo. But if the only fix is a new head unit, I'd be looking at after market units. Something with Apple Car Play. Just put a Kenwood 893S in an FJ. I like it a lot better than the head unit in my old 2012 Taco TRD.

Thanks! I'll look into that Kenwood. How much $$? And is it able to be swapped out for the Factory JBL I have? Don't want to downgrade sound wise

The Kenwood wasn't cheap...around 1,200 ..1,800 installed. I chose Kenwood because they use Garmin for their GPS system. All the steering wheel functions work with the unit.

If you are thinking aftermarket, go to Crutchfield.com and input your vehicle info there. It will give you a listing of units that will fit your dash. It's amazing what is out there.

Yikes that's quite a bit more than what I want to spend but thanks for the info! I'll take a look on Crutchfield
