Learned a few things over the weekend. Make sure your recovery straps are still in good condition before you let the boost kick in.Screenshot_20170423-042047.jpg

At least no one was hit by that. That would've been bad.

Are you starting to get the reg cab SAS itch? :D

I blame a buddy of mine. I just wanted to build my truck a little more but starting looking at how he built his rig and then I ended where I am now LOL

I think there's a couple of pics on my build thread of my truck before the SAS. When I started wheeling I had spacers up front with add-a-leafs in the rear with 32" tires. That suspension sucked and it was a total waste of money.

Then I tried a bunch of different things trying to take short cuts to save money; but all it did was waste my money!! Eventually I decided to do things right and got Icon Vehicle Dynamics coilovers up front and Allpro 3" leaf packs in the rear, and also lock right lockers front/rear. It was a simple, clean yet very functional set up that I really enjoyed a lot.

I see coilovers used for sale on the forums often. If you are patient and keep an eye on the classifieds you should be able to build your truck nicely and save money by buying used parts.

    Good luck!

Ahh, cool. Sorry I missed that part, I didn't get a chance to read all the other posts before I replied.

Man, that's a sweet older toyota truck. You could build it really nicely. Gotta love those older trucks when they are built right!

But be careful 'cause it escalates very quickly and before you realize it you'll ended with a rock crawler haha

Up at the Payson McD's at lunch with my kids coming back from Christopher Creek and spotted this bad boy in the parking lot.

I think it needs more lights.

Maybe it was a buy 2, get 1 free deal on light bars at Costco?

What do the pods on the sides do at that point? My kids couldn't figure out what I was laughing at.

Your not saying Polaris is built in China are you? Cause they aren't, but I still wouldn't buy one, not right now anyway, I got inside dirt on some problems they have. Structurally unsound. NOT GOOD. All I can say.
