Thanks for the great idea, @Pistol Pete! I installed these as well.

I bought these from the local Tractor Supply Co for a few bucks. I pinched the d-rings together most of the way using two locking pliers. I then bent them the rest of the way using a hammer on an anvil. To make them blend in better in the bed, I used some self etching primer and matte black spray paint. You reuse the same bolts already there which are removed with a t30 torx bit.

Thanks again for the idea. It's perfect for gas tanks and other small items like a tool box. I'm looking forward to making use of them!

Looks great! Prior to this, I snagged these off Amazon for those putting in less effort. They come flush already.

I'm in Canada so I got ripped off for starters, but I bought the floor clips for $25 bucks. The ones that go on the actual mat I robbed of my second set of carpet floor mats that came with the truck.

Best way to do the job is do floor mat first. Alignment of mat in truck , cut floor carpet for one hole only, install that clip, drop floor mat back down mark and cut last hole.
Have a real sharp knife as well.

haha..yeah, but if you look in the optional sellers they have em for $5 a pop. So I bought two. they had a 4 pack for the same price but these were a little bulkier. I really only use to secure my water jug, but still comes in handy to link up little things.

    Cheaper version:

I made a plywood mounting board on the front wall of the bed,
I cut a couple pieces of 1/4" aluminum, drilled and tapped, to fit in the track, so I could mount my hi lift brackets and quick fist
I also fabbed up a quick trailer plug bracket relocation

I can't for the life of me figure out what this does, thanks to the broken English translation description. Haha. Does it mod the Entune to sync with your phone's airplay?

It depends how much you want to raise the seat. But I think I used about a 3/4" stack ...

Just bought a set of these:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DEFD3N8/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I know it says "for Jeep Wrangler" but the dimensions on them looked very similar to other similar rings posted, plus you get 6 of 'em for $12...

We'll see how they work out. 200 lb working load is a little low, but I honestly think maybe the cubby mount screws aren't really rated to stand up to much more either... This is to keep small shit from doing the "slam into the front of the bed, now slam into the back of the bed!" dance. :p
