I actually found the box locally, removing the plastic panels was a breeze! The box just pops right in. You do have to remove the top cushions in order to remove the plastic panels.

Anybody know anything about removing these? Came with the truck but are visibly dirty now and stick out pretty badly. Don't wanna mess up the paint by removing them incorrectly. IMG_0589.jpg IMG_0590.jpg

try using a little bit of heat and then you'll need something to remove any leftover residue.

Went out of town for five days last week and came back to a truck covered in jacaranda tree sap. Happens every spring. Couldn't stand it, so I gave it a wash.

You have to ream out the hole a little and grind some ridges off the bed bolt, pretty easy here's the thread. Adding these allows one to strap down ATVs, gas cans etc. It is the first mod i did to my three tacoes. There is plug and play dodge d rings but they cost alot more, deets in the thread

The same shit everyone else has.

Thats an awesome deal. When I bought them, the 10 pack was 20$. I needed 4 more at the time, but put off ordering more because all they had them as were singles and 10 packs.

These fit behind hte bed rails perfectly.

Just ordered the 4 I needed plus 4 spares.

Debadged the doors and gave her a wash and wax. I had previously debadged the tailgate and kept debating on the doors, finally decided to do it and I like the cleaner look better.

The only badges on the truck now are the OEM TRD Sport decals on bed and flag decals on front doors.

Wife told me to not remove the TRD decals so now I need to remove them because a man has to be a man! :muscleflexing: :benchpress: :militarypress:

Wasnt able to do it myself due to space/time/tool constraints but my mechanic hooked me up. took the dorman springs i was gonna send back and beefed them up with the remaining good steel from my factory packs and slapped them back on. Rides great and a hell of a lot better price than the stealership. Appreciate all the help all you guys gave me along the way.

I need to buy a can of bedliner and some foam brushes so I can paint the weld points on my sliders... I looked under there this weekend and after only 2 weeks I see a tiny hint of rust.:eek::eek:

Should be a fun project, laying on my back on some cardboard under my truck in the hot garage, tonight.

Put in LED reverse lights today

Very happy with them. Last week I changed the map and dome lights to LED, also.

Stopped at HD and got supplies for painting the bumper too.

    20170424_170944.jpg

Planted these for the wife while I was at it.
