Homelink Question

Yep ... that's the one I want!

 

I have a 17 TRD Off Road with the JBL and Tech Package. Came with an auto dimming mirror with compass, but no Home Link. I used a garage remote for about a month until I couldn't take it anymore. Ordered the OEM Home Link mirror and swapped it out in 2 minutes. Took a spin around the block for the compass to start working (doesn't work at first when you do the swap, kinda scared me for a minute) and that was it.

Probably the best thing I've done to the truck. I still can't believe they don't put them on a fully loaded TRD OR from the factory.

 

I have it on my limited but cannot figure out why I need it. Now I have a garage door remote sitting on my work bench. There are 2 more buttons on the mirror but cannot figure out anything to use then]m for.

 

home link mirror standard on all TRD and up trims in canada. You can program up to 3 different garage openers. I have one for my garage and my grandfather's, but I have yet to find a need for the third one....maybe try it on the shop door haha

Honestly the best feature on it is the auto dimming.

 

What's the part # for the 2017 Tacoma's Homelink mirror, so when I go looking I won't have to worry about fitment? Thanks!
