It's either all hate or people who don't know how to drive in snow. Mine were great this winter.

I remember seeing this pic in another thread....the embedded LEDs you have to make it look like your truck is on fire in the inside is straight FIRE!!!! very nice.

Hell my LTX 2 m/s Highway tires did pretty well in snow...compared to the stock dunflops that I had "fun" in, overcoming slipping and sliding.

I am interested in the KO2 in 265/70/17 C-rated possibly in the Grey TRD Pro wheels I have the Black Sand Pearl Sport still on stock suspension, debating on a level lift in the front.

My KO2's came in today. I just got the call. I will try and get them on this week, but it will depend on work. If not I will get them on Friday. I can post a pic after install on a gray truck, but I don't have TRD wheels. I ordered 265/70/17 in C rated, but they will be mounted on some type of FJ or something wheel.

I've ran duratracs, general grabber at2, Michelin MS2, and the wife has Cooper atw on her t4r.

The ko2s are great in the snow imo. As good or better than the duratracs. The Cooper atw on my wife's t4r beat them on ice imo, but they have a ton more siping so it's no surprise. Plus any AT is just not going to be good on ice, just the nature of the beast.

I wouldn't hesitate to get them again and run them in winter. Like was mentioned above they wear a little fast( though I'm doing 5 tire rotations on mine and expect to get 55k or so before I sell them with enough meat on then to recoup some of the cost). But that's a good thing for winter use as you don't want a tread compound that's so hard it turn into a hockey puck when it's below 32deg.

Mine are also getting installed on Friday. Right before a little road trip I'm taking. It'll be about 350 miles round trip so not too taxing, but it is through several different road conditions as I'll be going over a mountain range. I think I'll photo document the truck before/during/after the trip. Don't mind my over-hype, I'm just way too excited to finally do something to the 'ol Taco after paying towards it for nearly six years.

    Thanks!

Yeah I like the whole fire theme. I'm slowly making my truck look like my avatar.

Black Sand Pearl would look great with the grey TRD Pro wheels. They are subtle in the shade but really pop in direct sunlight, kind of like a shadow. ;)

That's a good price. You might have to do some trimming and/or cmc to fit 285's.

We had a hell of a winter here in central Oregon. Mine did fantastic. The ONLY downside is the loss of MPG's.

I've got 5k on mine now and they are still over 14/32 tread depth.

What's a good size tire for a 3" lifted truck that you DD mostly on the street and take overlanding? I'm looking for a lighter tire as I have a little 4 banger.
