    Is the bumper bare metal? If so, you might want to hit it with an etching primer first. Something like this:

    http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Ole...f-Etching-Primer-Spray-Paint-249322/202097278

    I can't tell for sure but the primer you have doesn't look like self-etching primer. You'll get better adhesion with the etching primer.[/QUOTE]
    Dang it, I didn't see that.

    That's for the heads up, I will have to switch that out for sure.

    Is bare metal

    THIS.

    I used that etching primer on my sliders (but didn't paint close to where the welding was, because paint catches fire when you weld on/next to it).

    I didn't post about it but I think the rustoleum bedliner I got from lowes was OLD. I had 3 of 4 cans be total bitches and barely let any paint out of them. Super annoying and took way longer than it should have if I'd had good paint flow.

    @ChadsPride
    I'm going to get some of those reverse lights right now! Thanks for the recommendation. :)

    That picture is reversed right? Because you only have to pull the driver side CV to do that job.

    Ok, finally got the knobs. I know it's so last month, how can I get amber light to shine through them? Get some little amber bulb condoms, or try and color them with a sharpie or something.

    There is a zinc primer that is weld-through. I use it when mating sheet-metal patches on car restorations. It does not burn. It comes in a rattle can, I use the SEM brand but there are other brands, even DupliColor makes one. You can get it at auto paint resellers or maybe Napa can get it, also it's available from Amazon . Always follow it up with an etching primer once the welding is done, then a build primer.
    Found the weld through on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/SEM-39783-Weld-Thru-Primer-oz/dp/B00063ZPBU (Chad, you do NOT need this, you need an etching primer only since you're not welding on your bumper).

    90% of a good paint job is the prep and priming. Took me a long time and a lot of tears to learn this.
