Had this thing but ran into some issues with the supercharger/tune. Couldn't put any more money into it. Loved the truck just didn't want to run into any other issues down the road. Truck has been sold

Nice. The 4.0 with the supercharger feels like it should have come from the factory. I just with now they'd make a blower for the 3.5, good choice going cement! Best color yet imo.

Supercharger would probably be the better option for a Tacoma wouldn't it?

No lag to speak of, parasitic loss is negligible for most people, supercharger would help the low end torque that people miss in the new 2GR engine, less/easier maintenance/operation ect ect...

    Plus the whine. :D

Look who finally decided to show up to the dealer today. Build date of 3/9. Going to finalize paperwork tomorrow and then get her shipped back to LA.

Must be the new San Antonio plant in Japan. But seriously shipping took forever. It was stuck at the rail yard in Portland for like 3 weeks

Oh man that wait must have been brutal. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen to me. Mine was built on April 14th. According to the dealer's status report, the rail car reached its destination today on schedule. Supposed to be transferred to the dealer in the next few days for arrival by month's end. Then I get to wait again since I'm getting it transported by auto carrier to CA from the dealer.

Mine got stuck in Kansas City for a couple weeks and then again in Portland for another 2-3 weeks. The dealer is in Portland so it was frustrating to see the truck not moving and only 15 miles from the dealer. Either way, we're finalizing the paperwork tonight and shipping it down later this week. Who are you using to ship your truck? I was going to check out uShip.

The dealer arranged for shipment of the vehicle to me. I looked at uShip as an alternative and at the end of the day, the best uShip offer was practically the same as what the dealer was charging. I feel better knowing that the dealer is handling this for me. It might be a false sense of security but I've never shipped an auto cross country before, whereas the dealer regularly does I'm sure.

Congrats. I bet yours and mine (on its way) are related and likely born around the same time.
