Btw, did you end up getting the MLV done ? Can you give us an unbiased response or did you test and see the noise difference vs with and without the MLV while in both cases the door panel was off ?

Well, The doors are very quiet. The MLV made a difference, but I did not really check them in a scientifically sound way. With that said, I believe the difference is not as dramatic as the Shok. I think this is for a couple of reasons: As you see coverage is not compete (or in my case as elegantly done as others). Because of the tightness of the fit, the separation between the shok and the MLV is not complete. (I did put neoprene CCF between, but you have to connect it somewhere and the door skins compress it all together.

There is wind noise at the windows and the back wall. I shocked the back wall and plan on doing the floor and putting the MLV on it, too. I will be able to do a better comparison on the back wall because I've been driving with it just shok'd. I anticipate a difference, but in all frankness not certain the difference justifies the expense.

Still, the factory radio shows improved sound and the overall sound is reduced in the cab. The doors feel solid and I am happy for having done it. The MLV is icing for the cake - nice to have because everything was pulled apart and some bragging rights with some improvement.

More when the back and floors are done.

You have to heat it and roll it. Sounds like you just stuck it on.

I'm not sure on spray adhesive but it's worth a shot?
