    I always recommend the Mcneil +2 glass to anyone thinking on going larger tires or a +2 LT kit (Although depending on tire size and rim offset they may need 3" glass) with mid travel. I actually really love the way they look and would have had them on my prerunner had it been out. The stock lines are pretty much maintained. Now they need to just make a matching rear set and I bet they'd sell a bunch on here.

    I'd have bought a set if they had matching rears out. But for now decided to just trim.

    Yeah I wish someone would make a smaller set of bedsides instead of having to go with a full +4 so us mid travel folk can stuff bigger tires without having to trim.

    When considering glass vs trimming OE doesn't it really just come down to what you prefer aesthetics wise? It's seems like if you just consider the work involved, going the glass route is almost more work when you take into consideration the "massaging" needed to fit and looker proper and then theres the paint.... or is glass really just "plug-n-play" these days? :notsure:

    Edit: aside from the tire coverage provided by glass of course

    I barely had to trim my glass for install. Had to make two mounts and minor adjustments to the OEM mounts but otherwise plug n play.

    Help me @jberry813 , you're my only hope.

    Situation: sharp edged, tallish, speed bump, meant to rip the bumper off a lowered rice mobile, me going 40 mph. (DCLB, ExT Icons, Dakars, 33s, 350# in the bed,). The front end soaks it right up, the rear hops and bucks like a mule fucking a kangaroo.

    Is this valving, springs, a combination of the two, or something else?

    How do I fix it?

    Spring rate is for ride height and load. Valving is for ride quality.

    That said, generally speaking and all things being equal, you want the rear to outperform the front by 25% in terms of travel numbers. Otherwise you will overdrive the rear. And when that happens, get your cowboy hat on and hold on for the ride.

    So extended travel coil overs up front with 12" shocks relocated in the rear, valved correctly makes for a nice ride :thumbsup:

    Yeah I'm pretty sure I saw Jason put that in the LT thread recently. People ask constantly about front or back suspension and the answer is always the same, "the back should outperform the front always" because its true.
