So here is a thought. There are two steps with programming using the BD tuner. You have to select your vehicle, and select your tune. The vehicle we all selected is a Tacoma SC (supercharged). When you go back to "stock" with BD tune, it means stock shift points and stock pulley, but the vehicle selected is a Tacoma with a supercharger. I haven't personally done this, but I wonder what would happen if you uninstalled the SC tune, changed vehicle to just Tacoma (instead of Tacoma S/C) and flashed.

A012 is the tune available on BD agent. But you can get A013 if you contact BD directly.

And for those wondering. I have the BD tune. At max boost/RPM my AFRs are actually way rich. Im around 8.75-9.25. But I also live at 6800 ft elevation.

My truck runs great. URD swapped out my defective AFR calibrator but I never reinstalled it. I may revisit that after I finish my audio install.

Did you take delivery of the Tundra yet?

I have an AFE intake and URD exhaust. Stock pulley. Already have the fuel pump upgrade installed. BD tune just isn't any good.

I am anywhere from 5000 ft to 7000 ft on a weekly basis and my AFRs rarely go below 13. When they do it is for a brief moment at full boost.

If ya'll think the TRD tune is any better, you're only fooling yourselves. Even with all of my mods I still drop down in to the low 10s at full boost. My AEM AFR gauge only goes down to 10, it used to pin out at 10 anytime I boosted, before I added more boost and upgrades. If you want good numbers your only real choice is some sort of aftermarket tuning. The BD Tuner is a joke, and always has been. I'm glad to hear that it's not completely fucking up people's trucks, but from it sounds like they did the bare minimum to combine it with the Magunson SC and could give two fucks after that.

Mine doesn't go into the 10s. My AFR is mid 11s at full boost. Only mods are 2.85 pulley, AFe intake and URD Walbro pump.

You're right, that BD did the bare minimum.

I need help guys. I'm on a cross country road trip and my shit is acting funny. At idle AFR bounces all over the place and when driving the truck starts sputtering and AFR shoots up to 18+ when I hit the gas.

    When in idle.

I would rather have mine in the low 10s at full boost than low 13s. Agreed that real tuning is needed if you want real results but I just want something that will keep my engine in a safe zone with the power I have. I am happy with the performance I am getting, just not with the lean condition and the CEL codes that the truck is starting to throw.

Just the KN filter that came with the kit. I'm hoping it's not the transmission or something because I've been towing a trailer for a thousand miles. Also takes about a good six seconds to start. Like it's not getting fuel or something.

If it's taking a while to start I wouldn't think it's the trans.
