    yeah you can use stock shocks.

    But you won't see massive benefit for going faster without a better shock and valved correctly.

    That and you can get more travel from an extended travel coilover.

    Janky? How?

    Its built to clear rocks so it isn't a normal LCA by any means.

    really the whole kit is a 4wd spindle lift.

    Still stuck with a factory length coilover, thus any additional travel you would get would just be because it's wider. Also increase leverage ratio on the shock being it's further away from the spindle. Curious how that plays out with valving and spring rates. I don't see the merits of this kit at all.

    cxr turbo, fic6, methanol injection, king coilovers, jba uca, skyjacker leafs, rear 12" 5125s, no-slip rear locker, 35" grabber x3, magnaflow muffler, retrofit headlights, trans cooler, bed lined exterior, etc...
    more travel but youd need to up the spring rate and valving for sure.

    I just like the kit because its not gonna be a 3.5" kit that makes you wide as a damn Dana 60. Love the look of the total Chaos +2 on the 2nd gens. Wish they had something like that for 1st gens. Hence the reason im looking forward to this kit.

    Obviously, we need more info, but I don't think the increase in travel/performance would be worth the cost. Get a 3.5" kit or stick with midtravel. 2nd gen +2 kits use a 8" coilover like the wider kits.

    I'm in this boat. I think it'll cost too much..so may as well go full LT.

    I have had 0 issues with fitting anywhere with my LT kit and 12.5'' wide tires.

    I heard FROR is working on a 8" front diff adaptation for the 1st gen tundy, could be a possibility for adapting it to Frank as well.

    Wonder if a guy could buy this kit and make it fit an LT coilover by lowering the shock mount. Then again might as well just go real LT for the cost + modification at that point. Idk just cool its not a 3.5 LT kit. Just have to wait and see how it performs with stock length struts/coilovers.

    Custom length axle shafts are expensive, tundra CVs for the 3.5" kit aren't. Just not practical.

    I am a little confused by what I am seeing.

    Is this a stock spindle with a side-facing unibal mounted where the upper bj would normally be? Are those the stock bump stops?

    I can't tell from the pic what is in place of the lower bj. Is it a ball joint or is it something else?
