I was a dumbass and got 885's with the top plate spacer. Now I'm going to get a new bumper. Obviously more weight.

Should I do the swap of 886's? I have the Dakars in the rear.

Is it an ARB? Yes, get 886s.
Will you add a winch? Yes, get 886s.
If it's under 100 lbs and you aren't adding a winch just keep the 885s.

looking into Pelfrey Built...can't afford the aluminum. And yes, will be getting a winch.

Will I still get a full 3" with the 886? I l know with the 885 and top plate spacer I did.

I have the same question, will the 886s give a full 3" lift without the top spacer? Also, what's the tallest and widest tire I can use? I'm willing to chop away at it! Thanks.

If you are adding a winch most definitely go with the 886s

You can still use the top plate spacer with the 886s.

This. Adding the 1/4" spacer will net you 3" and 886s alone net 2.5"

First pic is OME 886, no spacers, and no front bumper or weight up front, right after installation.
Second pic is OME 886 and 1/4" spacers and US Offroad winch bumper, and X10 Winch, aluminum skid, and Group 31 Deep cycle battery... they have bedded down a little over 1/2" in the year and a half I've been running them. They dropped even more after installing all that gear, so I added the spacers to bring the front back up a little.

Can I put LT305/70R16 BF Goodrich MT tires on 16x8 aftermarket wheels with the OME lift with 886 springs and the 1/4 spacer and LR UCAs? If so, what back spacing on the wheel should I use? Thanks.
