Yeah, they quoted me 924+shipping. All pro is 799+shipping. Maybe we can see if they will give any discount if we order a couple?!?!:fingerscrossed:

Turned on the Mariners game and almost thought I was watching football. Score was 18-7, I thought who got a touch down?

As everyone has said, Deavers are nice but reeeeeal spendy. I don't do Baja or have LED bars, but FWIW, I've had the Dakar's with the extra leaf for 2.5 years (DD, no weight to heavy weight, frequent trails, good ride, good flex) and I honestly can't complain about a single thing. Oh, and they cost me around $350 bucks. Seems like a solid option to consider for 1/3 of the price :notsure:

Yeah that does sounds like a solid option. I will definitely have to consider that with the price point. The "buy once cry once" part of me is saying go Deaver but the "holy shit, I could spend an extra 700 on something else" part of me says go Dakars... choices choices.

    Dakars.
Extra leaf. Unlike others, mine still don't squeak after 5000 mi due me spreading red moly on every layer. We will see how long that lasts.
Ride is good but I have 1400 extra pounds of armor and gear.
2nd weekend of May I'm going to an event with friend from ARB. I'll see what small group buy I can get. No promises.

    It's taking
If you commute, it will happen.

I may or may not be waiting for the same thing, lol..

Here's my kill. It was a VERY clean truck before the kid hit me. That's a bad angle, that front end was destroyed.

Yeah, with the new bumpers coming in shortly... I hope :fingerscrossed:, I'm going to need to replace the springs all around and I can get Eibach 700# coils, Dakars with the extra leaf, Wheeler's bushing kit and a Timbren u-bolt flip kit with bump stops from Wheeler's Offroad for a little under $900 before shipping.

The way I see it the leafs on these trucks are basically a wear item anyway and will eventually need to be replaced no matter how much I spend on them.

    Workin' on it....
So your Dakars have only lasted 3 years and have lost their spring? I would've thought more life in them than that.....not under ARB warranty anymore?

Not sure if/what the warranty was. But yeah I have every leaf in them and they'll be flat soon.
