Thrown Out of Dealership Today

okay so now i want a third gen.

 

Should have recorded the whole thing and posted it on their facebook ... also hope you took off with smoke coming off them tires .. thats what i did when i got booted from a ford dealership just lit up.the tires

Several years ago, like 2008-ish, the Toyota dealership in Jacksonville Florida sent me a letter offering to buy my 96 turbo supra for $18,000.

 

I would have laughed my ass off, they're worth so fucking much more then that in todays market. Was it a manual? and do you still have it?

 

It was a manual, I sold it in 2010 for like $60k. Only had 40k on the odo

 

I got one a coupla months ago from where I bought my 08 offering me up to $6380......such comedy. I called them and acted like I really wanted to do it then told them I wouldn't even if there was a 2 in front of their offer amount but..........I'd trade them straight up for a 2017 regular cab. (which I wouldn't really) Good luck with the situation............

 

damn dude. All i want in life is a mk4 supra with forged internals, bigger injectors, big ass turbo, and all the tuner goodies to go with it. also big ass exhaust to spit flames with.

The dealer really messed up a great opportunity here. He should have tried to discuss the situation with you and find a way to make you happy and you could have stated that on FB. It's a lot easier to keep a customer then it is to find a new one!

No. Just because smitty points out faults doesn't make him a troll.

I guess some people can't admit something they buy and or like can't be a problem for others. The 3rd gen IS the lowest ranked mid size out there for reliability period. Those are the facts...if people choose not the believe, that's fine but to call a guy trying to help others out by sharing his experience a troll is wrong.
