I currently have the toytec boss rear leaf springs on my 05 dcsb. I just built an expo style trailer and my rear springs sag bad. I can bottom out on the interstate. I am looking at OME Dakar leaf pack and not sure on if i need the overload spring or not. What do you all think. 1. Think the Dakar will fix my problem 2. Should i get the overload leaf as well. Lastly i have no idea on how much the trailer weighs. Thanks for all the help TW.

the dakar pack without over load aal will give you about 2.5" of lift and will take any load you put on them. I would buy the dakar pack w/out the aal and see if it works out you can always add it later if it doesnt

That was my plan so thanks for verifying it. Anybody else want to chime in. Just curious on the overall TW opinion on these leafs.

I haul a leer DCC and weatherguard packrat with my Dakar set and the weight helps. As mentioned above, try Dakar without add a leaf then add/subtract leaf as needed.

I wish that replacing front factory bushing with poly prior to install was done by me. Going to be doing this once stealership returns my truck. There is a thread about lack of OME bushing lube I just found last week ... pending link found: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ome-dakar-front-bushings-everything-you-need-to-know.474030/

Also search some of the forum suspension section for pro/cons of various brand leaf springs and for common combo parts added with each set up...Brake lines, wheelers bump stop, OME/Energy suspension bushings, u-bolt flip kits etc.

@ToyTec Lifts has been super helpful to me. I'd let them chime in also.
