Does anyone have a 20" light bar mounted to the top of their bumper in front of the grille? If so how did you mount it? Did you have some brackets welded on or something different?

I plan to run 2 sets of pods in the bumper in a set of driving pattern lights with yellow Lamin-X as fog lights and a set of hyperspots but I want to add some type wide/flood type lighting up front. I prefer leaving the space above the winch open and didn't want to put a light bar in there so I need to figure out some way to add something on top.

@JeffRoyJenkins if you can't put the lights on top maybe consider putting them on the bottom side of the bumper IMG_6490.jpg IMG_5877.PNG.jpg IMG_6773.jpg

    A few things
I have caliraised 20" light bar on my bf hybrid front. With the brackets they provide I only had to drill 2 holes through the top of the bumper

I was shopping for primer and top coats yesterday and noticed that Walmart has some enamel base coat primer. Im wondering if I should still go with an etching primer then an enamel top coat, or just some etching primer and duplicolor bed coating?

For my sliders I went etching primer -> bed liner -> satin-black top coat. The satin top coat has kept the bed liner color from dulling with dust and age. My only hesitation on bedliner is unless you're good with the spray can, you can get some variation in the texture which could be more obvious on a bumper vs slider bars.

Ive painted quite a lot of things in my day, I have used the bed liner stuff as well. Im just not sure if I want my bumpers and everything coated with it or not. Thought about doing just satin black paint, Billy told me he could have it all powder coated for a good price, but I know it will eventually chip and it'll drive me nuts not being able to touch it up and it match
