You need some action shots with the new gear! The pics in the first post are getting a little dated. Actually.... I need to take some pics for my thread too.

How do you like Ouray? I've been watching vids on YouTube and it looks like a really cool place, although not a lot of challenging trails?

gorgeous area. Nothing super hard. Poughkeepsie Gultch is the hardest one in the area. Fun still. Most are just dirt roads. But fun to wheel at 13,000'

Your photos look like a really good time! It just occurred to me that Sarah might hate it there though. She likes the scenic exploration more than technical wheeling, but she dislikes heights....

I thought Mineral Creek was a little nerve racking with the slight off camber sections tilting towards the cliff edge. :(

My wife is the same, I just tell her not to look down LOL... seriously though... giving her frequent stops out of the car to see it looks steeper than it is, helps... unless it's just as steep as it looks... then I keep driving LOL.

Giving her something to do, like take photos (I gave her my old Nikon D 300 when I bought my Sony A7II)and it helped A LOT, something different to focus on.

Frequent stops to check it out seem like a good idea. We have a few spots we visit that have trails on top of very nasty drop offs, but there's no way to eff it up. That is, until her death grip on my arm pulls me off the steering wheel. Maybe if she got out and saw that we had a spare 5 feet and the trail was flat she'd be better.

Nice shots Bob. Yeah I have to agree with you on the angle of the wings on the bumper, adds a lot of clearance.

the new tiregate really pulls the spare in nicely...no more worries about having a ledge remove my tire for me

i will miss the tailgate for the extra table top, but my pop-up table in my REI kitchen bag will be a perfect substitution

yes, it is just bolted in so i can easily remove it or replace with a single holder if i wanted to carry, but free up some space..
