Most of the caves won't be open till May 1st over in Bend because of the bat hibernation (just FYI).

It's about 50 miles south of Lapine headed toward Fort Rock/Summer Lake. I don't have a specific location. We usually see a road off the highway and take it. Either works out or doesn't. ;)

Stand it up while leaning against your truck, then powerlift it up while letting it rest on the truck. Use a blanket or something to keep it from scratching your paint lol. Only realistic way I can think of unless you have a forklift or crane

I ended up just lifting it up to the tailgate and then power lifting the back end up and sort of wiggling it with the top straps until it fit perfectly in the bed. Works for me. Also grabbed a bunch of tools and a CB radio from my dad's garage. Won't be needing yours @willie64

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I'll put in the runner. Ithe appears I need another front axle due to events at TSF this past weekend.

Nothing major. At some point I ripped an axle boot and all my grease came out. I happened to have some lube in the truck so I pumped all that in. A lot of nasty grease water came out of the cv joint. Put a hose clamp on. No telling how much dirt is still in there. Getting the whole thing replaced as a precautionary measure.

Anyone know of a set of bed bars or something I can put my CVT on just for the night? I just want to meet some buddies in Maupin and fish, but my bed rack is in powder coat

CVT might have some they'd loan you. Just an idea though I don't know for sure.

I'm vacationing in Souther Oregon in June, coming from Guam. I'm planning on meeting up with a couple of members and possibly driving up to Bend. Plane tickets are booked, just counting down the days. Would be cool to meet more of the local crew.
